  2. NEITHER OF MY SPEAKERS FOR THE HEADSET WORK DUE TO SHORTS NEAR THE HEADSET i AM AN ADULT WHOM TAKES THE UTMOST CARE OF ANYTHING GAMING Related. I still use the mic tho I normally have to turn it off an back on about 20-30 times to get it to work sometimes unplugging it from the xbox controller an reconnecting it helps–once the mic starts working it stays working till I unplug it, I have had the same problem on 7 controllers an 3 xboxs. thats was part of the process of elimination.

the mic has always been picky tho when it does work it works very well for chat an the endwar game which is voice controlled

the headset was uncomfortably tight the 1st few days . guess they just needed some use, an a slight adjustment

the 1st speaker to stop working was the left the next day perhaps 2 days, the right one quit as well, excellent headset if you plan on putting it in a showcase an never touching it. kinda sad actually

i have had this headset in my care 3 weeks now. an yes all my games are scratch free turtle beach could take a lesson from alienware about wiring –you should see the alienware usb/ps2 video game controllers they never get shorts, unless you have a puppy.

  3. I just bought these head phones a few days ago because of how much they are and trust me they are cheap for a reason. First off let me say that these are uncomfortable. I just got done playing a bit with them on and every time I use them my left ear hurts like hell after a few minutes. I tried putting the head phones in different angles on my head but that doesn’t work, your ears will hurt if you use these.

Now what really sucks about these is the voice audio. This headset doesn’t have a volume control for voices only in-game volume because you use the headphone jack or the splitter cable to hear the TV audio. Then you have to go on your Xbox settings and change the voice settings to go out threw the speakers so the volume control you have controls both TV audio and chat audio at the same time. The major problem with this is you can’t hear anyone when gunfire or explosions go off. So you have to go the game settings, turn the game audio down so you can hear people chat.

This headset is literally a pain, I do not recommend it at all. I’m gonna get one of the headsets (probably the X1 version) that lets you control game and chat volume.

  4. If i were you i wouldn’t buy these i should of did more research my self before i bought these, if you want some really good turtle beach headsets get the x1 i know a lot of people want to buy the cheapest products now to save themselves some extra cash but it’s not worth it when the product is so crappy in quality, try to save your money for the x1 there way better
