  1. This game is great! I actually had heard of most of the songs on this game, that makes the game more enjoyable. I liked the skeleton character. Most of the other characters are repeats from previous games. I highly recommend

Band Hero is Guitar Hero, just more aimed at teen girls. The graphics characters and gameplay are identical to GH5. Band hero has noticably easier songs due to them being pop songs(I dont ever sing so i dont know bout dat). If you like the songs more in Band Hero than GH5 then get it. But if you like rock or just dont care get GH5, their is more diversity in the track list and has a good range of easy medium and difficult songs. Pop songs tend to have repetitive riffs or long parts with no guitar riff at all. I gave it 2 stars because two games, same look same gameplay, just different songs. Should be one game with a huge track list or one game with DLC that actuallly competes with Rock Bands.

  3. Everything is great, the cgi and sound quality, except the song list… the music doesn’t fit my taste in music. Most of the songs are not that great, there are only a handful of songs that I like. Maybe if they had less pop and more rock I would like it better, even alternative is better still. The song lists for the previous guitar hero games were so much better, if only they could incorporate some of those songs instead of what was provided.

The introduction to this game is endless. It was boring the first time and just plain annoying after that.

Also – I was hoping to find an appropriate music video collection for a 6-year-old who likes to play Guitar Hero with her dad and older sister. This was better than the software that came with the game (too many skulls and characters that looked like drug addicts) but more music aimed for younger kids (other than the 2 Disney offerings) would be welcome.

  5. Redmond Mom says:

I bought this CD for the second time because the original CD that came with the bundle was scratched. They advertise “over 65 popular songs” but you only really can sing half of them.I’ve only seen this one and only software for Band Hero, I wish they would have other CDs available with even more songs. My six year old daughter loves to sing Taylor Swift over and over. It’s great for family entertainment, no bad songs or explicit lyrics.
